About Our Building Construction Activities

One of the key business areas of Fadoktor Engineering Office Ltd., a member of the Rebinium Group, is building construction. This activity originated from our roof renovation projects and evolved naturally from our expertise in wood protection engineering.

Our professional experience is based on wood protection, condition assessment of timber structures, and structural reinforcement. As a result, our scope of activities has expanded to include the renovation of traditional and historic timber structures—such as roof structures and timber floors—as well as the construction and reconstruction of special timber buildings. These include lookout towers and glued laminated timber transmission towers, where structural safety, durability, and preventive wood protection are of paramount importance.

Building on decades of experience in wood protection and timber structures, we have embraced one of the most advanced technologies in timber construction: CLT panel-based building.

Cross-Laminated Timber (CLT) technology enables the realization of fast-to-build, energy-efficient, sustainable buildings with outstanding structural performance.

For us, CLT construction is not just a modern building method—it is a logical continuation of our philosophy, where deep knowledge of timber behavior, long service life, and preventive wood protection play a key role. Therefore, in our CLT-based projects, durability, moisture performance, and timber protection are already considered in the design phase, ensuring long-term value and reliability.

Fadoktor Mérnöki Iroda Kft., its predecessor, and the members of the Rebinium Group have been a family-owned business since 2000, engaged in wood protection, the manufacturing and distribution of sawmill and further-processed wood products, general contracting for roof renovations and CLT buildings, as well as the design and construction of playgrounds.
